SBI Global Asset Management acquires SBI Okasan Asset Management

SBI Global Asset Management Co., Ltd. announced on September 11, 2025, the successful completion of the simplified share delivery to make SBI Okasan Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SBI Okasan AM) a subsidiary. The resolution for this share delivery was made at a Board of Directors meeting held on August 20, 2025.

Under the share delivery plan, SBI Global Asset Management set a minimum acquisition of 566,100 shares of SBI Okasan AM common stock. The company successfully acquired 577,400 shares, exceeding the minimum threshold. As a result, SBI Global Asset Management now holds 51% of the voting rights in SBI Okasan AM, effectively making it a subsidiary.

In exchange for the acquired shares, SBI Global Asset Management delivered 13,128,343 shares of its own common stock to the assignors of SBI Okasan AM's common stock. Prior to this transaction, SBI Global Asset Management held no shares of SBI Okasan AM. The share delivery took effect on September 11, 2025.
