Howtelevision sees strong revenue growth despite profit dip

For the first half of the fiscal year ending January 2026, Howtelevision reported consolidated net sales of JPY 1,407,942 thousand, a 23.4% increase year-over-year. Operating profit decreased by 3.3% to JPY 284,019 thousand, while ordinary profit saw a 3.8% decline to JPY 281,416 thousand. Net income attributable to owners of the parent decreased by 4.4% to JPY 175,949 thousand. Diluted EPS was JPY 64.21.

The company's career platform business saw cumulative transaction partners reach 1,050 companies and cumulative members total 664,252 people by the end of the second quarter. Investments in strategic areas, including the mond service and office relocation expenses, were key. Cash and cash equivalents increased by JPY 256,387 thousand, reaching JPY 1,856,315 thousand by the end of the period.

Howtelevision plans to continue its focus on the career platform’s stable growth, monetizing its mond service, and pursuing strategic M&A opportunities. Full-year consolidated forecasts for the fiscal year ending January 2026 remain unchanged from the announcement on March 12, 2025, projecting net sales of JPY 2,750 million and operating profit of JPY 50 million.
