GMO Financial Holdings reports August 2025 trading volumes and assets

GMO Financial Holdings' August 2025 preliminary results show varied activity across its key segments. GMO Click Securities reported 961,395 stock trading transactions and ¥961,395 million in stock trading value for August. The average daily stock trading value was ¥48,069 million. FX trading saw ¥1,686,776 million in monthly trading value and ¥80,322 million in daily average trading value, with 1,188,656 million units in trading volume. Total customer assets under management at GMO Click Securities reached ¥1,218,463 million by month-end.

GMO Coin, the cryptocurrency arm, recorded ¥978,641 million in crypto asset trading value for August, with exchange trading accounting for ¥936,089 million and over-the-counter trading at ¥42,551 million. Total crypto asset-related customer deposits stood at ¥504,889 million. Both GMO Click Securities and GMO Coin reported increases in account numbers, with GMO Click Securities reaching 547,205 securities trading accounts and 860,713 FX Neo trading accounts, while GMO Coin reached 756,205 crypto asset trading accounts.

GMO Gaika, another FX subsidiary, reported ¥372,666 million in monthly FX trading value for August, with a daily average of ¥17,746 million and 283,757 million units in trading volume. Their FX customer deposits reached ¥110,976 million. Across the group, FX trading days were 21, and securities trading days were 20.
