Toray Industries updates on recent and ongoing share buybacks

Toray Industries, Inc. completed a share repurchase program, buying back 9,654,300 common shares for a total of JPY 9,574,715,330 between August 1 and August 31, 2025. These shares were acquired through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

This recent buyback falls under a broader resolution by the board of directors on November 7, 2024, to repurchase up to 155,000,000 common shares for a maximum of JPY 100 bn. This program is active from November 8, 2024, to November 7, 2025, also via market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

As of August 31, 2025, Toray Industries has repurchased a total of 91,871,200 shares under the November 2024 resolution, amounting to JPY 89,555,050,668. The company continues to manage its capital structure through these strategic share repurchases.
