MS&AD Insurance completes latest share repurchase, acquires 4.4m shares

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. announced the completion of its latest common stock repurchase, acquiring 4,435,700 shares for JPY 15,309,753,900 between August 1 and August 31, 2025. This transaction aligns with the resolution passed at the board of directors meeting on May 20, 2025.

The May 20, 2025, resolution authorized the repurchase of up to 50 million shares, representing approximately 3.3% of outstanding shares, with a maximum aggregate purchase price of JPY 85 bn. The authorized buyback period extends from May 21, 2025, to December 23, 2025.

Cumulatively, as of August 31, 2025, MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings has repurchased 20,007,700 shares for a total of JPY 63,745,601,500 under the current board resolution.
