Kusuri No Aoki Holdings reports strong August sales, expands store count

Kusuri No Aoki Holdings reported strong sales for August 2025, with all stores achieving a 112.5% increase year-over-year, and existing stores up 103.0%. This growth was supported by an 111.6% rise in customer traffic across all stores (101.5% for existing stores) and a 100.8% increase in average spending per customer (101.5% for existing stores). The company's monthly sales report covers the period from July 21, 2025, to August 20, 2025.

During this period, Kusuri No Aoki Holdings expanded its footprint with the opening of seven new drugstores. These new locations include Hashie in Gunma, Kasugaimiyamachi and Okazakikitano in Aichi, Mamedaodori in Ishikawa, Iyoshimoagawa in Ehime, Oami in Chiba, and Kawajiri in Ibaraki. This expansion brings the total number of stores to 1,042 as of August 20, 2025, comprising 351 standalone drugstores, 664 drugstores with dispensaries, 21 supermarket stores, and 6 dispensing pharmacies.

Notably, two supermarket stores, Hassle Koyanoguchi Store and Fresh Value Imabari Takaichi Store, were closed as of August 20, 2025.
