Metaplanet significantly boosts bitcoin holdings, continues strategic capital activities

Metaplanet Inc. added 1,009 bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 20,000 bitcoin at an average purchase price of JPY 15,115,593 per bitcoin, totaling JPY 302.312 billion. This strategic accumulation is part of its Bitcoin Treasury Operations, with BTC Yields demonstrating growth across recent quarters, including 30.7% from July 1 to September 1, 2025.

The company also executed multiple early redemptions of its 19th Series of Ordinary Bonds, totaling JPY 17.75 billion in July and August 2025, with an additional JPY 3 billion redemption. These redemptions were funded by proceeds from the exercise of the 20th through 22nd Series of Stock Acquisition Rights.

Concurrent capital market activities include the exercise of 60,000,000 shares from the 20th to 22nd Series Stock Acquisition Rights in August 2025, significantly impacting the number of issued common shares, which stood at 751,214,340 as of August 29, 2025.
