Idemitsu Kosan receives $400m dividend from subsidiary

Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. announced the receipt of a dividend from its consolidated subsidiary, IDEMITSU ASIA PACIFIC PTE.LTD. The dividend amount totals $400 million. The company confirmed that this transaction qualifies as a temporary report submission requirement under relevant financial regulations. The dividend was received on August 26, 2025.

Idemitsu Kosan plans to record the dividend as non-operating income in its individual financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026.

However, the company clarified that this dividend will not affect its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, as it originates from a consolidated subsidiary.
