Metaplanet reports stock rights exercise, early bond redemption

Metaplanet has reported significant activity concerning its 20th series stock acquisition rights, issued to EVO FUND. Between August 14 and August 26, 2025, 275,000 units of these rights were exercised, resulting in the issuance of 27,500,000 new shares. This represents an exercise ratio of 14.86% against the total issued rights of 1,850,000 units. As of August 26, 2025, the total outstanding shares increased to 739,714,340.

In addition to the rights exercise, Metaplanet has announced a partial early redemption of its 19th series unsecured corporate bonds. Following previous redemptions totaling JPY 12,750,000,000, a further JPY 5,250,000,000 of the bonds, originally issued for JPY 30,000,000,000, has been redeemed early. The funds for this redemption are sourced from the proceeds of the 20th to 22nd series stock acquisition rights.
