Macbee Planet confirms full write-off of unrecoverable receivables

Macbee Planet, Inc. has provided an update on its previously disclosed allowance for doubtful accounts related to receivables due at the end of March 2024. The company initially recorded an allowance for doubtful accounts on June 13, 2024, due to delays in collections from a client group.

Despite efforts to collect the receivables through legal proceedings and consultations, Macbee Planet has determined that further collection is no longer possible following the bankruptcy of MPH Co., Ltd. and Shuwa System Co., Ltd. As of the end of FY04/2025, the balance of these receivables was JPY 601 million.

Given that the full amount of these receivables was recorded as an allowance for doubtful accounts in FY04/2024, Macbee Planet stated there will be no additional impact on its financial results for FY04/2026 and beyond. The company also confirmed that no loans have been provided to other entities.
