Euglena operating profit surges 716% in first half

Euglena Co reported operating profit of JPY 1,636 million for the six months ended June 30, up 716.3% from JPY 200 million in the prior period. Net sales rose 3.8% to JPY 24,553 million.

Ordinary profit surged 625.7% to JPY 1,172 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased 65.3% to JPY 3,507 million.

Despite the operational gains, the company recorded a loss attributable to owners of JPY 559 million for the period.
