Sundrug reports strong first quarter sales and profit growth

Sundrug reported consolidated net sales of JPY 207,698 million for the first quarter ending June 30, a 6.7% increase year-on-year. Operating profit rose 12.4% to JPY 12,276 million, while ordinary profit increased 14.1% to JPY 12,147 million.

Net income attributable to owners grew 9.0% to JPY 7,944 million. The company maintains its full-year forecast of JPY 850,000 million in sales and JPY 31,700 million in net income.
