Pan Pacific International reports strong July sales growth

Pan Pacific International Holdings Corporation reported comparable store sales growth of 3.2% in July, with customer traffic up 0.5% and average spending rising 2.6%.

The discount store business drove performance with comparable sales up 3.3%. Household goods surged 5.7% and food rose 4.1%, offsetting a 6.9% decline in home appliances.

The UNY business posted 2.5% comparable sales growth, led by food sales up 3.7%, though watches & fashion and sporting & leisure categories declined slightly.
