Nippon Hume Q1 sales fall 11% despite profit gains

Nippon Hume Corporation reported net sales of 8,034 million yen for the first quarter ending June 30, down 10.8% year-on-year. Operating profit declined 29.6% to 629 million yen, though profit attributable to owners rose to 1,265 million yen.

The company maintained its full-year forecast of 40,000 million yen in net sales and 2,270 million yen in profit attributable to owners for the fiscal year ending March 2026.
