Megmilk Snow Brand net income surges 70% despite sales decline

Megmilk Snow Brand reported net income rose 70.2% to 8.976 billion yen in Q1, driven by policy-held stock sales. However, sales remained flat at 152.395 billion yen while operating profit dropped 39.7% to 3.476 billion yen due to higher costs and promotion expenses.

The company continues its "Next Design 2030" strategy focusing on functional products, alternative foods, and cheese expansion.
