Mizuno reports record sales but profits decline

Mizuno Corporation reported net sales of 63.5bn yen for the three months ended June 30, up 4.5% year-over-year, marking record group net sales driven by strong performance in competitive sports products and Sportstyle shoes.

However, operating profit decreased 3.3% to 6.3bn yen, ordinary profit fell 8.6% to 6.8bn yen, and profit attributable to owners declined 5.0% to 4.9bn yen.

Geographically, Europe, Americas, and Asia-Oceania all achieved record or high net sales of 8.0bn yen, 11.9bn yen, and 8.9bn yen respectively.
