KDDI completes JPY364bn share buyback program

KDDI Corporation acquired 157.4 million shares for JPY364 billion in July, bringing it close to the maximum limits of its current buyback program.

The repurchases are part of a program approved in May authorizing buybacks of up to 196 million shares or JPY400 billion through December. The majority of shares were acquired through a tender offer in June costing JPY350 billion.
