Ushio acquires ams-OSRAM lamp business for €88m

Ushio Inc. announced its acquisition of all shares in a new subsidiary of ams-OSRAM AG's lamp business operations. The deal includes specialty lamps for semiconductor manufacturing and entertainment applications.

The acquisition price totals €88.3 million, comprising €84.8 million for common stock and €3.5 million in advisory expenses.

The transaction is expected to close by Q4 of fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The acquisition forms part of Ushio's "Revive Vision 2030" strategy to strengthen its Industrial Processes business.
