Nomura Research Institute reports 17% profit jump

Nomura Research Institute reported a 17% year-on-year increase in profit to 26.12 billion yen for the three months ended June 30, with revenue rising 4.1% to 195.77 billion yen.

The Financial IT Solutions segment saw revenue increase 6.3% to 96.34 billion yen and operating profit jump 14.3%. The IT Platform Services segment performed strongly with revenue up 9.8% and operating profit rising 15.1%.

The company projects fiscal year 2026 revenue of 810 billion yen and profit of 104 billion yen.
