Obic reports strong Q1 profit and revenue growth

Obic Co reported net sales of ¥32,431 million for the first quarter ended June 30, up 12.7% year-over-year. Operating profit rose 15.2% to ¥21,479 million, while ordinary profit increased 18.0% to ¥27,238 million.

Profit attributable to owners jumped 16.3% to ¥19,512 million, with basic earnings per share of ¥44.36.
