Freee to acquire GMO creators network for freelancer expansion

Freee K.K. will acquire all 3,833 shares of GMO creators network, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary on September 1, 2025. The deal aims to integrate GMO's "FREENANCE" financial services for freelancers with Freee's existing cloud ERP products.

GMO creators network provides same-day payment and liability insurance services for freelancers. As of December 2024, the company reported net assets of JPY -1.38 million and net losses of JPY 142,090, with sales of JPY 453,000.
