Euglena triples stake in Malaysian biofuel venture to 15%

Euglena Co., Ltd. has completed its increased investment in a Malaysian joint venture focused on commercial-scale biofuel production.

The Japanese company acquired an additional 5% equity interest from each of the two partners, PETRONAS Mobility Lestari Sdn Bhd and Enilive S.p.A., tripling its total stake from 5% to 15%.

The transaction followed Euglena's decision to exercise a call option announced in June.
