Smartvalue swings to 884m yen loss, raises dividend

Smartvalue expects a net loss of 884 million yen for fiscal year 2025, revised from a previous 3 million yen profit forecast. Lower sales in digital government and mobility services drove the downturn.

The company recorded extraordinary losses of 754.6 million yen from asset impairment and subsidiary stock devaluations. Despite losses, Smartvalue increased its fiscal 2026 dividend to 10 yen per share.
