Lintec to shut paper machine amid restructuring

Lintec Corporation will halt operations of one paper machine at its Kumagaya plant in March 2026 as part of structural reforms following declining envelope paper orders and rising costs.

The company recorded a 7.7bn yen impairment loss on fixed assets for the fiscal year ended March 2025. Production will shift to other machines and employment will be maintained.
