Kaihan forms alliance for Japan battery storage projects

Kaihan Co. announced a business alliance with Ecokawa Co., a subsidiary of Technologies Inc. (TSE:5248), to promote power grid stabilization through battery storage systems.

Under the partnership, Kaihan will purchase and sell battery storage systems developed by Ecokawa, which will handle land acquisition, development, construction and maintenance.

Kaihan plans to acquire 10 projects annually, targeting contributions to its fiscal year ending March 2026. The company intends to retain some projects for its own portfolio from March 2027.
