Maniinc revises full-year earnings forecast downward due to recall

Maniinc (TSE:7730) announced a revision to its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025, primarily due to a voluntary recall of its "MANI DIA-BURS" dental products in China, due to incomplete product registration information submitted to Chinese regulatory authorities. While Maniinc confirms there are no quality, efficacy, or safety issues with the product, the recall has led to a sales reduction and impacts operating income. The company projects a sales reduction of JPY 1,520 million and a JPY 1,200 million impact on operating income for fiscal year 2025, expecting to complete the recall by August 2025 and resume sales in full by March 2026.
