Tokai Carbon to acquire Bridgestone Carbon Black Thailand

Tokai Carbon announced today that its board has resolved to acquire all shares of BRIDGESTONE CARBON BLACK (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (BSCB) from Bridgestone Corporation and Asahi Carbon Co. The acquisition will be executed through Thai Tokai Carbon Product Co., Ltd. (TCP), Tokai Carbon's consolidated subsidiary in Thailand, with Tokai Carbon holding a 1% stake and TCP holding 99%. The acquisition is expected to close on September 30, 2025. As of December 31, 2024, BSCB had a capital of THB 1,787 million. The acquisition is aligned with Tokai Carbon's "Vision 2030" strategy, focusing on growth market commitment and strengthening its partnership with Bridgestone.
