Araya Industrial acquires Miyake Metals, expanding stainless steel business

Araya Industrial has acquired Miyake Metals Co., Ltd., a specialist in stainless steel processing and metal filter manufacturing, in a move to strengthen its stainless steel business and drive growth within the Araya group. The acquisition, finalized on July 2, 2025, aligns with Araya's long-term vision "Vision 2033" and its mid-term management plan "Medium-Term Management Plan 2026". Miyake Metals, based in Osaka, reported sales of JPY 634,321 thousand and net income of JPY 33,380 thousand for the fiscal year ending March 2025. The acquisition price remains undisclosed at the request of the counterparty. Araya Industrial expects a minor impact on its consolidated financial results from this transaction.
