Japan Animal Referral Medical Center acquires Fukuoka hospital site

Japan Animal Referral Medical Center announced today that its board of directors has resolved to acquire land in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, for the construction of a new animal hospital. The company plans to open the Fukuoka Hospital (tentative name) by the end of 2027, deepening cooperation with local primary care facilities and building a collaborative structure. The land acquisition contract was signed on June 24, 2025. The land area is approximately 3,260 square meters. The acquisition price is undisclosed due to a confidentiality agreement, but is equivalent to 30% or more of the group's consolidated net assets and will be funded by the company's own funds and bank loans. The scheduled date for payment of the purchase price and property transfer is March 31, 2026. The company anticipates no changes to its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 as a result of this acquisition.
