Kyushu Electric Power revises FY2025 financial results

Kyushu Electric Power (TSE:9508) has issued a correction to its previously released consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The revision addresses errors identified in the wholesale electricity sales volume of one of its consolidated subsidiaries. The updated figures reveal a change in the wholesale electricity sales increase, now reported as 51.6% year-on-year to 25.4 billion kWh, compared to the initially announced 56.6% increase to 26.2 billion kWh. Consequently, the total electricity sales volume increase is adjusted to 11.9% year-on-year, reaching 101.0 billion kWh. The company reaffirmed that these corrections do not impact numerical data reported in XBRL. Forecasts for fiscal year ending March 31, 2026 were also adjusted to reflect the change to the baseline number.
