Nitto Kohki FY24 sales up slightly, profit declines

Nitto Kohki (TSE:6151) announced its financial results for fiscal year 2024 (April 2024 to March 2025), reporting sales of JPY27.256 billion, a slight increase of 0.7% year-over-year. However, operating profit decreased by 12.6% to JPY2.342 billion, attributed to an increased cost of sales ratio and product mix effects, partially offset by increased demand for semiconductor products and a recovery in overseas blower demand. The Door Closers segment returned to profitability.
