Kasai Kogyo delays financial results, considers filing extension

The delay stems from accounting errors discovered at its Mexican subsidiary, KASAI MEXICANA S.A. DE C.V. (KMEX), specifically involving accounts payable and value-added tax. The company is conducting an investigation to determine the root causes and financial impact of these errors. The extensive review of supporting documents and data, coupled with additional audit procedures, has made it difficult to release the financial results by the initially anticipated dates. The company is also considering applying for an extension to file its 94th fiscal year securities report. Kasai Kogyo will announce the revised release dates for its financial results as soon as they are determined.
