Happiness and D announces president resignation and replacement

Happiness And D announced changes in its leadership structure, with Atsushi Den stepping down as Representative Director and President to take responsibility for recent business underperformance. The company's board accepted Den's resignation and appointed Satoshi Maehara, formerly Senior Managing Director, as the new Representative Director and President on June 19, 2025. Den will remain with the company as Representative Director and Vice President. Maehara's career includes experience at Fuji Bank (now Mizuho Bank), Mizuho Investors Securities, and Trial Company, prior to joining Happiness And D. He also currently holds positions as Representative Director at AbHeri and Director at No., and Outside Director at Jit. The company clarified that Yasuo Ta, Representative Director and Chairman, will remain in his current role.
