Fukuda Denshi FY2025 profits dip slightly amidst uncertain economy

Fukuda Denshi Co., Ltd. (TSE:6960) announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, revealing a slight contraction in key metrics. Net sales totaled JPY139.007 billion, a decrease of 0.9% compared to the previous year. Operating profit fell by 2.4% to JPY25.874 billion, while ordinary profit decreased by 1.3% to JPY26.633 billion. Profit attributable to owners of parent also experienced a minor decline of 0.5%, settling at JPY18.605 billion. The company cited uncertainty in the Japanese economy due to rising resource prices and global trade friction. Despite the downturn, the company proposed an annual dividend of JPY195.00 per share, including an extra dividend of JPY45.00. For fiscal year 2026, the company forecasts net sales of JPY137 billion, operating profit of JPY24 billion and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY17 billion.
