MinebeaMitsumi extends tender offer for Shibaura Electronics shares

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. [TSE:6479] has announced a further extension to its tender offer for all shares of SHIBAURA ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. [TSE:6957], now set to conclude on July 1, 2025. This decision follows the submission of SHIBAURA ELECTRONICS' 67th Annual Securities Report on June 17, 2025. MinebeaMitsumi initiated the tender offer on May 2, 2025. The extension aims to provide SHIBAURA ELECTRONICS' shareholders with additional time to assess the offer, especially in light of the newly released annual report. The tender offer period has been extended to a total of 41 business days. Consequently, the settlement start date is now scheduled for July 8, 2025. The initial tender offer period statement has been updated from June 19, 2025 (33 business days) to July 1, 2025 (41 business days).
