Ukai to build second Atelier Ukai workshop

Ukai Co., Ltd. today announced a resolution to build a second "Atelier Ukai" workshop in Hachioji City, Tokyo. The decision, made at a board meeting held on June 16, 2025, aims to expand production capacity and promote growth through new store openings. The new workshop, planned as a complex facility with a café, is expected to enhance brand value and contribute to the local community. The planned construction site is 3,300㎡ with a total investment of JPY 1.8 billion, funded through self-financing and loans. Operations are scheduled to begin in early summer 2026. The company anticipates a minor impact on earnings for the fiscal year ending March 2026.
