Yamada Holdings to receive JPY28.4bn dividend

Yamada Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:9831) announced it expects to receive a dividend of JPY28,443 million from its consolidated subsidiary, Yamada Denki Co., Ltd., with the scheduled receipt date set for June 30, 2025. This transaction triggers the requirement for the submission of an extraordinary report under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. Yamada Holdings will recognize the dividend income as operating income in its non-consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. However, the dividend payment from a consolidated subsidiary will have no impact on the consolidated financial results for the same fiscal year.
