Kanadevia Group reveals more inappropriate conduct outside marine engine business

Kanadevia Corporation (TSE: 7004) announced the findings of a Special Investigation Committee regarding inappropriate conduct in business areas outside of its marine engine operations. The investigation, initiated in response to prior revelations concerning the marine engine business, identified 35 cases of inappropriate conduct across five sites including Mukaishima Works, Wakasa Works, and subsidiaries Ataka Asano, KVES, and V-TEX. The misconduct varies by site, ranging from welding qualifications issues and falsified testing records in steel structure manufacturing to improper water quality testing procedures and falsified emissions data at waste incineration facilities.
