Joyful Honda to cancel 1.6m treasury shares

Joyful Honda Co., Ltd. announced today that its board of directors has resolved to cancel 1,628,359 treasury shares. The cancellation, which is in accordance with Article 178 of the Companies Act, is scheduled for June 13, 2025. Following the cancellation, the total number of issued shares will be 63,784,612, and the number of treasury shares will be reduced to 3,189,300, representing 5.00% of the total issued shares after cancellation. The announcement clarifies that the remaining treasury shares do not include 335,520 shares held by Custody Bank of Japan, Ltd. through the Stock Benefit Trust (BBT and J-ESOP).
