Vector Holdings announces auditor changes; no immediate successor

Vector Holdings (TSE:2656) announced today that auditors Shibata Hiroshi and Otaki Hideki will retire at the conclusion of the 37th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled for June 27, 2025. The decision follows Shibata's notification that his individual accounting firm is converting to a corporate structure, preventing it from continuing to audit listed companies. Vector Holdings has accepted the resignations. A proposal to appoint Shibata's newly formed Progress Audit Corporation was considered but ultimately rejected because the firm is not yet registered as an auditor of listed companies. The company states that it will appoint a temporary auditor at a later date following a decision by the Audit and Supervisory Committee. The company affirmed that the current auditors’ reports contained no objections.
