Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings completes share repurchase

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings (TSE:2579) has announced the results of its treasury share repurchase program. Between May 1 and May 31, 2025, the company repurchased 1,212,700 of its own shares at a total value of JPY2,939,226,186. This buyback was conducted through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and was based on a resolution passed by the board of directors on November 6, 2024. At that time, the board authorized the repurchase of up to 20 million shares, not to exceed JPY30 billion. As of May 31, 2025, the cumulative total of treasury shares repurchased under this resolution stands at 7,679,900 shares, with a total value of JPY18,596,853,223.
