Fuji Media Holdings reports FY2025 loss amid TV revenue drop

Fuji Media Holdings (TSE:4676) announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, revealing a net loss attributable to owners of parent of ¥20.134 billion, a significant downturn compared to the previous year's profit of ¥37.082 billion. Consolidated net sales decreased by 2.8% year-on-year to ¥550.761 billion. Operating profit also took a hit, decreasing 45.4% to ¥18.293 billion. The Media & Content segment experienced a decrease, with terrestrial TV advertising revenue declining sharply from January onward because of a recent incident.
