Asahi Intecc announces treasury share acquisition

Asahi Intecc Co., Ltd. (TSE:7747) announced the status of its treasury share acquisition program today. Pursuant to Article 165, Paragraph 2 of the Companies Act, the company acquired 867,000 of its own shares between May 16, 2025, and May 31, 2025. The total expenditure for this acquisition amounted to JPY1,940,873,542. This activity stems from the board's resolution on May 15, 2025, to acquire up to 8,800,000 shares with a maximum budget of JPY15,000 million, with the acquisition period extending to October 31, 2025. The current acquisition reflects part of this larger buyback initiative.
