Taisei Corp appeals ruling in antitrust case

Taisei Corporation (TSE: 1801) announced today that it has filed an appeal and a petition for acceptance of a final appeal with the Supreme Court regarding the lawsuit seeking the cancellation of the cease and desist order issued by the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC). The JFTC's order relates to the construction of new terminal stations for the Linear Chuo Shinkansen project, specifically involving open-cut excavation methods for the Shinagawa and Nagoya stations.
