Shibaura Electronics (TSE:6957) issued a partial correction to its previous notice regarding the tender offer for its shares by MinebeaMitsumi. While maintaining its supportive opinion of the MinebeaMitsumi tender offer, the company's Board of Directors has resolved to leave the decision of whether to tender shares to the individual discretion of each shareholder. This decision follows MinebeaMitsumi's requirement to amend its Tender Offer Registration Statement and Public Notice due to a rival offer from YAGEO.
