Ricoh's ETRIA executes absorption-type company split with Oki Electric

Ricoh Company, Ltd. (TSE:7752) has announced that its consolidated subsidiary, ETRIA CO., LTD., has executed an absorption-type company split agreement with Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. The agreement, initially announced on February 13, 2025, involves ETRIA succeeding Oki's business related to the development and production of multifunction printers, along with shares of Oki Data Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. This move supports the joint venture formed on July 1, 2024, by Ricoh and Toshiba Tec Corporation, aiming to develop and manufacture multifunction printers and other products. The effective date of the absorption-type company split is set for October 1, 2025.
