Base opposes Maki's tender offer, extends offer period

BASE, Inc. (TSE:4477) has announced its continued opposition to the tender offer initiated by Mr. Hiroyuki Maki for the company's shares. The company reiterated its stance against the tender offer, as outlined in its May 15 press release, and has respectfully requested shareholders to refrain from tendering their shares. Furthermore, BASE urges shareholders who have already tendered their shares to promptly cancel any related agreements. The announcement also indicates that Mr. Maki has submitted a response to questions from BASE, as well as an amendment to the Tender Offer Registration Statement, extending the tender offer period to July 30, 2025, making the total tender offer period 60 business days.
