Proto Corporation's profit falls despite sales increase in FY2025

Proto Corporation (TSE:4298) announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, revealing a 4.9% year-over-year increase in net sales to JPY 121.325 billion. Operating profit also saw a rise of 9.1% to JPY 8.610 billion, and ordinary profit increased by 4.2% to JPY 8.780 billion. However, profit attributable to owners of the parent company decreased by 11.5% to JPY 4.912 billion, influenced by expenses for special investigations.
