Prima Meat Packers FY2025 earnings jump; Itochu subsidiary reports growth

ITOCHU Corporation (TSE:8001) reported that subsidiary Prima Meat Packers, Ltd. saw a substantial increase in its non-consolidated financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025. Net sales rose to JPY334.519 million, a 3.9% increase year-over-year. Ordinary profit surged by 36.2% to JPY10.989 million. Net profit saw a notable 43.9% jump to JPY8.043 million, compared to the previous fiscal year. In a separate release, Prima Meat Packers itself reported consolidated net sales of JPY458.354 million, a 2.2% increase, with profit attributable to owners of parent decreasing 5.5% to JPY7.076 million. The company forecasts net sales of JPY480 billion and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY8 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
