Shibaura Machine finalizes acquisition of Functional Fluids Ltd.

Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd. (TSE:6104) announced the completion of its acquisition of all shares of Functional Fluids Ltd. on May 1, 2025, thereby making Functional Fluids a subsidiary. The initial announcement regarding the intended acquisition was made on March 18, 2025. Functional Fluids Ltd., located in Osaka, specializes in manufacturing, sales, and installation of secondary cooling systems, anti-rusting coolants, and related equipment. It also provides technical consulting for cooling and heat exchange systems. Its capital is JPY24 million, and it was established on June 5, 1984. Shibaura Machine anticipates a minor impact on its current fiscal year results from this acquisition. The consolidated financial forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, is currently being calculated and will be disclosed later.
